To help us work together, everyone with a @beckingtonbenefice.org email address has access to Google Workspace.
Think of it as our shared online office. It gives us one place to communicate, organise events and store information, so that everyone is working from the same, up-to-date information.
What you’ll find
Email (Gmail)
Your benefice email for church and community work.
Shared Calendars
See services, weddings, meetings, and events, all in one place.
Shared Contacts
Find the contact details of people and organisations you work with.
Shared Files (Google Drive)
Access documents, forms, posters, policies, meeting notes, spreadsheets and other resources wherever you are.
Google Docs, Sheets and Forms
Work together on documents, rotas, budgets, sign-up forms and meeting notes without sending lots of attachments.
Google Meet
Join online meetings with just one click.
Why do we use it?
Because it makes working easier.
Instead of wondering who has the latest version of a document, everyone can work from the same one.
Instead of searching through old emails, important information is stored in one place.
Instead of keeping information on one person’s computer, it is available to the people who need it.
This saves time, reduces administration and helps us serve our churches and communities more effectively.
A few simple guidelines
- Store benefice documents in the shared folders where others can find them.
- Share links to documents rather than emailing attachments whenever possible.
- If you’re unsure where something belongs, just ask.
- Treat personal and confidential information with care.

Need a hand?
Don’t worry if this is all new to you—we all started somewhere!
If you’d like help using any part of Google Workspace, or you’re not sure where to find something, just ask. We’d much rather spend a few minutes helping than have you struggle on your own.
Thank you for everything you do to support Beckington Benefice. Your time and gifts will help us be a transforming presence in our communities.
